I work with founders, investors, and executive teams in health, wellness, and consumer businesses to launch new ventures, grow their companies, and turn around businesses that aren’t performing. I often step in when a company has outgrown the way it has been operating and when its leaders need more structure around them to keep moving forward.
I spent a decade on Wall Street before earning my MBA from Columbia Business School. I then founded Physique 57 with Tanya Becker to establish what became the premium barre fitness category. We took the business from a single concept to a globally recognized brand with corporate studios, international licensing, digital subscriptions, and partnerships with leading luxury hospitality companies.
A lot of my experience has come from the less visible side of building a company: figuring out how an organization should be structured, setting up franchising and licensing programs, developing compensation, establishing effective meeting rhythms, and creating the operating manuals that keep a brand consistent. Most of my experience is in health, fitness, and wellness, but the problems that come with growing a company are rarely limited to one industry.
In my advisory work, I help founders and leaders put the systems and accountability in place that allow a company to grow without everything depending on a few people. I care about whether those systems actually work for the people using them, not just if they look good on paper. I want the people I work with to feel proud of what they are building and the work they are doing. I continue to run Physique 57, and I bring what I learn there into every advisory relationship.
